Re: re: killing off schools mail??
Auditors don't come every day, and when they do , the lazyboy bosses know and it's like they're about to be beheaded for leaving a letter in the building. Wish an auditor would come in unannounced , he'd have a field day.
Why are lino's paid full-time ??

Write on it "out for delivery tomorrow".dvbuk55 wrote:What do you do with the tray? The Auditor doesn't restrict the time of his visit.DB1100 wrote:Just put the tray in the van and bring it back if the school is closed, just drive past doesn't take any longer.dvbuk55 wrote:The only problem with that is when the Auditor comes round and asks why there is mail on top of the frame unendorsed and your answer is "it's for the school" - well good luck with that little anecdote.Burnleyfc wrote:You absolute turnips if u sign these letters off to schools your damaging our decline even more put them on top of your frames for fuk sake and think about our future . Yep that'll keep him quiet I'm sure. The easiest way by far is to follow the guidelines and write it off.DB1100 wrote:Write on it "out for delivery tomorrow".dvbuk55 wrote:What do you do with the tray? Well your manager is wrong and if a dispute occurs he'll deny any knowledge UNLESS you get him to sign an instruction to that effect - then forward it to Moya and see if she agrees with him.bluealbert wrote:Sorry our manager says it's finedvbuk55 wrote:bluealbert wrote:I've been a postman for 26 years and we've ALWAYS kept the schools mail in the office over holiday periodsits time you stopped doing that unless they pay.

Well we deliver to over 40 schools and colleges and unless they pay or arrange a C&C it's killed off as per RM procedure.bluealbert wrote:He may be wrong but we deliver to about 8 schools and colleges and ALL the staff about 30 know that in school holidays the mail stays in the office,so if a dispute occurs he'sdvbuk55 wrote:Well your manager is wrong and if a dispute occurs he'll deny any knowledge UNLESS you get him to sign an instruction to that effect - then forward it to Moya and see if she agrees with him.bluealbert wrote:Sorry our manager says it's finedvbuk55 wrote:bluealbert wrote:I've been a postman for 26 years and we've ALWAYS kept the schools mail in the office over holiday periodsits time you stopped doing that unless they pay.

In this climate db I wouldn't chance being responsible for the wilful delay of mail which what you're doing is tantamount to. When the worm turns you're standing right at the front of the queue.DB1100 wrote:Sometimes when we drive past the caretaker is there we stop and give him the mail for the school,no problem we usually catch him once a week or once a fortnight,dvbuk55 you've got to chill pal all this RM bullsh1t is starting to change you,I expect to see you on RMTV at this rate like a stepford wife type person.dvbuk55 wrote:Which?
