A smash between a post box and a car left both looking worse for wear.
Paramedics and the air ambulance were sent to the scene following the crash on Stratford Road, near Ettington, in Warwickshire.
A blue Renault, driven by an elderly woman, hit the postbox shortly after 1.30pm on Thursday afternoon.
It is understood the driver became ill at the wheel shortly before the crash.
One lady was checked out at the scene while another was taken to Warwick Hospital with minor injuries.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called to an accident in Stratford Road, in Ettington, at 1.35pm on Thursday.
“The vehicle was driven by an elderly female and contained another female passenger. It appears the driver may have become unwell at the wheel before the car collided with the postbox.
“One woman was checked over at the scene and the other was taken to hospital for further assessment.”
