End the political levy now!

In a debate in which the problem of the Royal Mail was raised one Mp said this:

The Secretary of State rubbishes the point made by my right hon. Friend, but over the past four years the CWU has made political contributions of £4.5 million, half of which has gone directly to the Labour party, with the rest being used for campaigning in the Government's favour. ''

Bit of a no-brainer imho - they've taken money from the service, the expect the service to pay back, with interest, some of that money they've loaned to us, left us in the lurch ( at best ) in everything from competition & regulation to the current IA & yet they still expect us to pay them week in, week out!

To hell with them, I'd rather send Tony Benn and supporters to our cause like him, a Postal Order for £100 ( or whatever the annual cost of the political levy is ).
