A good deal would be monday to friday- in turn no floaters to cover days off which would generate EVR`s for the ones that want to leave.
Im told due to USO you cant work monday to friday but dont Northern Ireland do this ?

There's man in my office who comes in 45 mins early, does'nt take his breaks, uses his car AND takes his D2D's home to prep them. Doing it this way he starts early AND STILL FINISHES LATE. When I pointed out the error of his ways he agreed that I was totally right, that he should'nt do it but he will carry on doing it to keep the boss off his back and have a quiet life!!
So he does over 4 hours a week unpaid just to have a quiet life and when you have people like that the chances of winning are minimal. They are either to selfish, stupid or ignorant to realise the harm they are doing to everyone they work with.
When I had the choice to make I almost decided not to strike, money is tight and I had to make some very harsh decisions. As things have progressed I know I made the right choice. Our futures are at risk and not for any good reason, just because the government does'nt want us to be a service anymore, just a government owned company trading like a private one that returns huge profits they want to cream off, yes our futures are under threat in the name of profit.
Well Mr Brown, you bottled an election this year but enjoy your stay in number 10 because it will be a short one. With your permission Leighton and Crozier are on the verge of destroying ROYAL MAIL and I would say at the end of this that every postmen and their families will be voting anything except Labour. If you want to change that try putting someone else in charge who will actually try and build the company up and make it a success, get rid of these two slash and burn artistes. In short, do something positive for the good of the people, if you are capable?

good post Jackdaw, but i have a feeling your wishes maybe falling on deaf ears.the people in our own ranks, like the one you mention help to undermine us, and for the life of me i just dont understand what planet they are on. do the job properly, come in at the right time and take a break. stand up to the bullying manager if he has a go , it is only words and threats. it can be uplifting. the media will use every trick in the book,to pit one set of the working class against the other. look at the Sun , read by nearly every working class postie i know {fools !!]"Posties Strike to Save their Fiddles". Classic divide and rule technique, while it maybe true that some posties fiddle the vast majority dont but of course the mud now sticks on all of us.

Just wait untill they are told to come back to the office and take some more stuff out!

Can i use this opportunity to thank all the RM Managers at my office for taking job & jack away after some unofficial strike action several weeks ago.

LIFES GREAT!!!!!! :nana :Applause :nana :Applause

No rushing about, no stress, no problems, and fat managers getting skinny because they have to do their job properly.

POWER TO THE PEOPLE :nana :nana :nana
