Well, the time has come.

Tomorrow is my last day at Royal Mail after numerous years and roles within the business.

The times have been mostly good, some bad, but the years I'll remember most were the ones when I was a postie.

You all(mostly) do a sterling job, and in an ever-changing market have adapted to change in unprecedented levels over the last few years. I fear there are more changes to come, and more challenges, but I'm sure you'll rise to those challenges.

Keep yourselves safe, healthy and within the remit of your jobs and you'll be fine. The key to the future is not fighting against management but standing alongside them as RM will change massively in the next 3 years I fear.

I hope TrueBlue and Postman will allow me to remain on here, as I do enjoy reading the site. If I can help any of you in an unofficial capacity, please don't hesitate to send me a private message.

We both wholeheartedly encourage people to remain active members of RMC if they leave the business. In fact, some of the best posters on here have left the business, or indeed never were in it, perhaps its the freedom to say what you couldn't as employees that gives them an edge. But please don't become a stranger visit us poor fellows occasionally and thanks for the open invite for members to PM you.
