Four days pay stopped
Well what a surprise our beloved employer who treats us with such dignity and respect, and cares about their people have stopped us the full four days. What a desperate act, they must really want us back in work. Well keep trying, I feel even more than ever that the strike will be backed even more.

Jokes aside, take a view here......
No one noticed our one day strikes, wasnt even on the news was it.....
Give the public the 4 days of, long weekend strike Thurs-Tues, everyones reacting, news at 10 etc etc.....
I'd rather stuff the RM like this and get noticed every four weeks than go back to the rolling unnoticed day..
My customers actually missed me

One day or four days, we know its going to be stopped regardless. Just goes to show the lengths they will go to stop the strike. I know some people at our place were budgeting for 3 days pay at least, once they heard they were losing 4 days!!!! That was it, they saw Royal Mail for what they are and are adamant they will join us on picket duty. Backfires everytime for Royal Mail. I'll be there again next week welcoming them with open arms. Come to daddy.

Everybody knows you get paid in advance (or should know). Therefore we lose two days from this week and they take back the two days they paid us last week when we were on strike. We were on strike for four days and we lose four days pay as a consequence, simple really. You can't put the blame on RM for that one.

I don't get that. Why should they apply an adjustment for last week and an adjustment for this week; all in this week?Townfan wrote:Everybody knows you get paid in advance (or should know). They have tried to screw us mate, i have a astanding order to my wifes account and to my savings, if i hadn't read about them taking the 4 days off in a oner on here then i could have been hit with £80 bank charges as i would not have enough to cover both, as it is they have just pissed me off more :cfo :lfo
