Regarding strike pay stoppages.

I'm so proud to work at Sevenoaks - it's worth the Â£20-25 p/w in diesel.....especially as my local office has strike breakers in it ( even getting deliveries from there makes me ashamed

i started 19 years ago and was definitely payed in arrears, i have my original contract when i was associate postman,if i dont recieve 3 days pay tomorrow in my wages s**t is going to hit the pan proper,i have 6 boxes under my frame of mailsort 2nd class highrtetc and that mountain will continue to build higher and higher

At Middlesbrough sorting office all strike days pay deductions have been taken out
in one week, this was after a promise that to save hardship to staff, deductions
would be two days this week two days next week. So guess what, we walked out
big style, bosses of all types told lie after lie to get us back, this time they have
gone to far and the membership are up for any agro going now. Our reps dont even
have to try any more to get people out on strike we just wait for the next blunder
by the goons. We had the media queing up to interview people while the half baked goons
just looked on in a daze and at a loss at what to do.

our office same as 7oaks ,
for the first time everybody on the vans and hopefully in at the correct time
tomorrow. the most break offs ive ever seen absolute chaos
and dont 4get no mail in the front work from the back .

Here's a point for everyone. When you have a weeks leave, you get the flat wage the following week. A full weeks flat wage so therefore the pay is worked from Monday to Saturday, yes? So it surely follows that it must be illegal to do what they are doing!!!
When this rumour 1st started about a week ago I asked my DOM about it and he was of the opinion that it would be two days stoppage one week, two the next. He was either misinformed or lying. Lets see which?!
