You prep and take out 20% a day in work time. You do not prep d2d's in your own time. :no no

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Really??? Everyone in our DO of 90odd says u put D2D into your frame in YOUR OWN TIME. Most guys come in before their time and the managers say that's how it should be.

When I asked the dom I was told to do 20% a day and also within my hours (part time 25 p.week) time was allowed to prep them.

do them in duty time and then if your duty goes over book the overtime.Dont give me anytime. If a fuss is kicked up then tell the manager you will not be able to complete on time.He will then get them prepped for you.Just got to stick to your guns and not feel intimidated when he makes you feel that you are not up to scratch.

One guy does it our office and has em bending over backwards.
