TAX! P46, part-time...
Got my first pay slip through yesterday. £31 out of £142 to Tax. Was thinking this was a bit much, called the number on the back, the guys says there was a problem, check my p46 get a new one if needed. Done all that waiting on next weeks pay slip, just wondering how much tax should be taking out from

i got that in my first week
been taxing meas if its week one in the tax year ever since... am i due a tax rebate in April?

I recently got a tax rebate on the cost of cleaning my uniform over the past few years................£406 trouble is they did'nt give it to me in one hit, I pay £5 less tax each week
