What was the point of having an official ballot for industrial action when as it turns out unofficial action was always going to kick off somewhere anyway?

The union had to ballot to stay within the law.

If some members go on unofficial strike action that is their decision.

They are entitled to make it but I personally think they are wrong - but they, like me, are entitled to their opinion and I just hope they have thought things through as I believe unofficial action is the biggest threat we have to winning this.

I think we'd all like to stick to official IA, but sometimes we're left with little choice but to do otherwise.

There's one hell of a huge backlog of mail right now, it won't get any smaller. The larger the backlog, the bigger the headache for Leighton & Crozier.
