Not a good reaction from the job and finish brigade and I dont know if management are enforcing them although the CWU rep is telling the members that they must be used which is a surprise i also think it is a phased return of the trolleys to ensure there is not another 2010 style debacle
What the union fall to understand at the top is management will never push trolley use as it does not benefit them to!
let me think,mail coming back for linos to deliver if trolleys used or no mail coming back plus very little docket if walks carried on backs? tough decision ay?
I'd love to be a fly on the wall if HCT users in our depot were instructed to hand over their "secret" pouches, used by most and treating their HCTs as a mobile bag replenishment point locked on street corners. All they see is less daily grief regarding completing the duty, because they will get round quicker, reducing the likelihood of wanting to cut off or claim plenty of o/t.
