And if they want to spit the dummy out at 4p.m. tomorrow c'est la vie! Or as Yul Bryner said in the Ten Commandments - As it is written, so let it be done".
Are they just going to bulldoze the mail - or are there, as we speak, C130s full of Polish paratroop posties winging their way to blighty.

Perhaps they're trying an age-old tactic of throwing in EVERY possible outrageous proposal for change they've ever had on their wish-list in the last 20 years, knowing it is totally unacceptable, and then if, at the end of the day, the CWU end the dispute by agreeing to just one or two of those things, RM will still have got agreement to introduce things that were never under discussion at the outset of the talks

Well that would be great for us as at the mo we have to prep D2D in our own time and not in our regular hours...how would one be able to process 6 x 700 drops of D2D a week plus all the other shite, hmmm?John_McC wrote:Said this to an area boss and was told they'll just put it all in as mail sort and we would have to do itThe Postal Avenger wrote:That does seem a bit of a no brainer. Walk away from Talks---- More Royal Mail B%^%%$T.
Do they really think were scared.
Every step of the way they have just lied and tried intimidating us with Bully Boy Tactics.
I do not want to loose any more money. But this shite just makes me DETERMINED. And I will be proud to stand together with my colleagues come rain or shine!!!!!.

4pm deadline
Let's see who can piss further then!
Let them walk away - they'll come crawling back.
I think things really are starting to go our way and we must hold firm and not give an inch at this stage.
Separating the pension issue does make sense - but the flexibility one has to be thrashed out this time round as we have to give this management a bloody nose otherwise they will be back next year and we might find it harder to mobilise the troops.
