We striked last Friday and Sat ( 1 week)
We striked Mon and Tues (2nd week)
We should be deducted 2 pays only for each week - not f***ing 4 in the one week
Since when did Fri, Sat, Mon and Tues become part of a week?
what i want to know is where is the union in all this..
this has to be illegal.and you know next weeks pay will have tuesdays strike taken out of that aswell.people have to live,if this carries on f**k the strike business there will be riots in every office.
i have been on the sick since last tuesday(ankle injury) i just hope i don't have anything deducted or my DUM will get a load of verbals down the phone come 6:15 tomorrow morning.
Hang on in there everybody. It will be hard but we have to stay the course or we are f...d. Did anyone really think that Royal Mail would,nt do this? IMO this can only do us good as if they are capable of this, just imagine what the workplace will be like if we go back on their terms. STAY STRONG.We will prevail.r
To me, it smacks of desperation on thier part and just shows that we're all united (well most of us are) and they're trying every lousy trick in the book in order to get a response.
They want us to un-offically walk out so they can run to the papers and telly and say "look at the naughty posties not playing by the rules"
We need to stay strong and remain determined......roll on Monday!!!

Same thought here Drewsie, to me it sounds like they are trying every dirty trick to wind us up because they know that if we all go all out unoffical then it will HAVE to get resolved one way or another.
The thought of more disruption in the run up to Chritmas i.e rolling strikes every week the way we are doing it now, has got them shitting themselves because it looks like and sounds like from the guys in this forum that the official action we are taking is hitting home to them now.
i got told that basically last friday everyone recieved their pay ok on the 5th october which was the pay for monday 1st through till sunday 7th
because we striked on the friday and saturday we had already been paid for these 2 days so what they are doing is just getting it back along with the monday tuesday this week, this is the information i got from a lad in our office, not sure if thats correct or not but if it is then there really is nothing we can do about it
maybe thats why the union haven't mentioned anything
just the info i got be it right or wrong just thought i would share
in my office all the people who started 15 years plus pay roll number is 4 figures, anyone after thats wage pay roll number is 5 figures, all the 4 figure(15 years plus) all worked a week in hand those with the 5 figure pay roll didnt, therefore i expect 40% of staff to get 3 days pay and the other 60% 1 day but we will wait and see
