I stopped half way around and rinsed my hands under someone's outside tap. The mail was getting really grimy.

Also really embarrassing when knocking on a door and handing over a PDA with coal black / blue hands.

Still got loads for the morning as well. I am taking out a small bottle of soapy water with me.

Take wet wipes, they'll be easier to use and no chance of any "spillage".
I do agree, it was embarrassing handing over mail/packets/PDA for people to sign on with dirty black hands!

A rather nice response from the public today.. on twitter there is this #ReturnTheSun and people are using the freepost address to return the paper to Murdoch Towers and demanding that they stop peddling their trash like this

Yeah, like RM will stop delivery because of what's mentioned in the report. As much as I'd love this to happen, I very much doubt that it will happen as this is meant to be completed today. Also I bet that over 80-90% of these papers were delivered yesterday. No doubt we'll be seeing (I hope) quite a few being returned via "freepost" or as a charged item [no post paid on it]. It's a bit late in the day really and RM top brass will be thinking of the contract issue and any defaults on that if not completed?
No doubt they'll take this into account next time someone tries to pull a stunt like this. It makes you wonder who at their HQ, NewsCorp that is, let this one pass them by..
I hope that "Digger" really is spitting feathers over this one..

My postie rang my bell as he was delivering a 'signed for'. He had already put 'the Scum' through the letterbox. I didn't have the heart to tell him to take it back. If other people were doing that it would only mean he would have more to carry back to the DO on a very hot day. I put it straight in the recycling bin, but I might retrieve it today and return it to Fortress Wapping.

I sat on the corner of a busy street knackered waiting for my driver took my baseball cap off a old lady through a £1 coin in the hat she thought I was homeless. Bless her!
