Kilter delivers The Last Post to Radstock

There will be another first-class delivery from Bath based low-carbon theatre-makers, Kilter, when they present The Last Post at Victoria Hall, Radstock, Friday, June 13 and on Saturday, June 14.

The Last Post is a touching and humorous eulogy to the dying art of letter writing, performed in the back of a lovingly converted Mobile Sorting Office parked outside the Victoria Hall, Radstock.

A curious love story between a redundant post master and the irrepressible heiress of an international pen-palling agency, The Last Post is accompanied by "harmony-drenched, melancholy-tinged" live music, delivered from the 'orchestra pit' on the luton shelf of the van.

Mobile Sorting Office 451 is a bright red Luton van crammed with a sherry decanter, a ping-pong set and all the retro-chic details of a much-travelled life.

Audiences are welcome to explore MSO 451 after performances.

Kilter Theatre was set up in 2006 to make theatre and installations in unusual places.

Performances take place at 7.30pm with an extra matinee on Saturday at 2.30pm.
