Well at our office yesterday staff were told to just take out mech, then they were all asked to go on sortin but they got told to leave that mail till tomorrow (thurday), and that included pkt bags, so today loads of staff complaining to much stuff but the half wits left stuff in from the day before. Its about time someone got hold of Leighton and his chum Crozier and got them to do a day on delivery takin out all the crap that we all deliver each and everyday. Also an A4 sheet of papaer on every frame telling staff what attendance times are for Mon-Fri and Sat with a breakdown of what they will be doing and at what time they'll be doing it. Is it just me or did our glorious leader say a few years ago he understood people have commitments on saturdays so how come we are being kept in till half 9 ish and expected to be working till just after 1. I know he screwed up when he was on Leeds Utds' board before he came here but i bet he still follows footie but looks like the rest of us that like the game, will have to sacrifice especially if SKY continue to have lunch time kick offs. :lfo :cfo

taylormade: i dont like to piss on your parade but yesterday Wed only 4 say again 4 mini buses came back with posties and cut offs so much for standing together, it seems more like f**k you jack i'm alright. there are some 150 delivery people and only 20 or so are now doing the job properly, i think we need to redouble our efforts but many seem to stuck up their own fecking arses.

Oh and 1 other thing about our vans dont know if this is happening in other areas with vans but most of our vans have been fitted with trackers. Another money saving venture from Royal Mail i think not.

In York we were told to go sorting till 7,then back to frame, union guy called us all together,we then talked about what union bloke had said, then talked about other s**t, went back to frames..........very very slowly(industrial action is so tiring).............threw some mail in untill 8.30 told to bag up, break at 9 out at half 9. More mail built up today than there was yesterday, theres just no motivation and mangers have heads well lodged up arses

All in all we did about an hours prep which didn't even begin to start getting the volumes down......

Then the managers had the bright idea of telling us that any1 back early has to throw mail in for tomorrow, amazing how my heels dragged so much I got back just on time
