i really have no idea, how i'm going to do them in 2 days, 'im already be forced to work over my time.. i've got to the point not wanting to talk to management,,,, they are un approachable and intimidating about not being able to complete on time.... management just harass me into YOU Can DO IT....

Great post. I think it's great that the company that helps pay my mortgage has managed to get £22m odd worth of business, even though I loathe the Sun and all it stands for. But it depresses to think that the only way it will get delivered is by bullying and harassing of members of staff because there will be absolutely no plan put in place in the vast majority of cases.

I don't think the contract was worth £22m but 22m papers @ probably about 5p each.[/quote]
It can't be £22,000,000 or £1 per copy.
When we got paid for Door To Doors it was 2.7p for those weighing from 60g to 80g which I think meant Royal Mail charged 8p each Add on a bit a few years later and for delivery over 2 not 6 days and it surely can't be much more than 12p to 15p each or about £3,000,000 total.

Mate, just do your hours and no more. They can jump up and down, stamp their feet, bawl and cry, spit their dummy across the floor, and then for an encore, wet themselves. But that's it. Only YOU, and YOU alone, can decide whether you want to work over.

Unfortunately TBT's advance weather forecast turned out to be correct, and the households will all receive a readable intact edition of the Scum.

Me and partner have settled on a strategy - as we finish on our round an hour before time usually we are throwing them off Weds after delivery in RM's time, only delivering to the houses with mail Thurs and numbering the rest for Friday if no mail.

You're quite right. Still, 3m quid is a large bit of business. I would hope that RM have charged them a hefty premium to be delivered in 2 days. And I wish that the CWU had negotiated a payment per item to its members for letting RM break their own door to door spec.

we were told four years ago that we would get d2d to do on a specific day say saturday for dominos im surprised its took so long for it to happen

yes the erection crap was worth 3.5p to us so we got about £50+ for them so they could have given us 5p each at least for these. As someone said, if we pull this one off , more contracts will follow .
