I started 7 years ago. Started on the Monday paid on the Friday, same week. So I'm not paid in arrears. If I was to leave the job on Saturday, the only payment I would receive next week would be for d2d's (not that we have any this week). I don't know if this changed either before I started or since.

Same here!strangler wrote:At the end of the day you`re still losing the same amount of money. It`s an obvious, pathetic and very transparent attempt to piss people off and put them off striking. Well it`ll take a lot more than that to piss me off.

Everybody knows they will lose the amount of days they went out on strike when they go out.strangler wrote:At the end of the day you`re still losing the same amount of money. Couldn't agree more its just their way of winding us up, but all it does to me is make me hate my work and the higher management even more, it just sends a signal that they don't give a F*CK about us so why should we give a flying F*CK when they want a bit of flexibility (give and take swings and roundabouts as the latest document says) i say F*CKEM

You can't blame the union for this. we get paid week to week so nobody knew they'd pull this trick. It's an attempt by RM to starve people back to work.
FECK YOU RM, I'M WILLING TO GO ALL OUT TO BEAT YOU SO TAKE ALL THE MONEY YOU WANT THIS WEEK COS I'LL BE BACK ON THE PICKET LINE ON TUESDAY :lfo :cfo

at Sevenoaks we heard about losing the 4 days pay in one hit and got together straight away . . .we collectively decided not to walk straight out but to follow the policy of "doing the job properly" very very closely indeed . . . . we are also removing what little goodwill was left so no point in asking us to cover jobs or stay out and complete from now on . . . . Royal Mail has forced us to this point with their petty tactics and lack of respect for their "biggest asset", us . . . . the new round of strikes could prove very interesting
Together we stand, divided we fall
