The overtime is gone why would royalmail pay your wages as they can and need to compete with TNT three years and it will be merged contracts and all?Burnleyfc wrote:Yeh people are killing the job coming in early but your deluded if you think not doing the job right is the right way to go. What the hell is everyone stressing about???? Work to you time, cut off, take any excess crap back to the orifice! It's not hard!
The RM own us for our 8 hours+ every day. If they want me to sweep the yard , clean the toilets, whatever I really couldn't care less. The days of job and knock are well on their way out. The only people that are really pissed off about this Sun crap is the lucky few that make time every day. Well tough shite, welcome to the world of the rest of us that have been bailing out your lazy arses for far too long! WORK TO YOUR TIME THEN GO HOME!

Your DOM is chatting sh*t mate, the national agreement states otherwise an that people with genuine concerns will be dealt with in a sensitive way. Just like the election material the conscience clause applies here too. Why do people actually believe a word that comes out of a DOMs mouth.doorstepped wrote:there is a new LTB out that states because the union agree to the delivery of the S**, anyone who refuses to deliver it will get taken down the conduct code as not delivering the item amounts to willful delay.
my DOM told me this this morning as I had advised him earlier this week that I would not be delivering it, so I will be phoning in sick on Thursday Morning.
also if whole offices walk out over the delivery etc then they would be in breach of the agreement that was signed by the CWU that means we can't hold unofficial strike action anymore.
for the record I voted NO, but as we know, the mail centres et al have more members than us delivery bods so we lose out again so they can have their £££'s and we get the sh1tty end of the stick
I have not been sent the LTB yet ( as it's saturday ), but as soon as I do I will post it unless someone beats me to it.
this also means that in future, the delivery of BNP leaflets will have to be delivered by everyone, there will no longer be an opt out for anyone, not even our Asian / black / Chinese colleagues etc.

Actually we don't know that.doorstepped wrote: but as we know, the mail centres et al have more members than us delivery bods so we lose out again so they can have their £££'s and we get the sh1tty end of the stick
Because it isn't true.
Delivery massively outnumbers MC et al.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

As the CWU has 201,900 members, not only do we outnumber the MC members, we should be dominating the Union as a whole.Royal Mail Deliveries
With well over 100,000 members working in this part of the Royal mail business, it remains the single largest group of members within the CWU.

Just another bullying tactic by RM, if you don't deliver it we will have to take you off your walk, & put you on something else?!, why?, when every walk is going to have them! Tried to pull the same stunt with the election material.

Re: Can you Refuse to Deliver The Sun Leaflet
If Scousers don't have to deliver it then neither should the rest. We are all paid the same. Most Liverpool fans don't even live in the Liverpool area. There are at least a dozen lfc fans in our office which is 150 miles away from Merseyside.
How anyone can defend taking 600-700 24 page newspapers over the 2 busiest days of the week for no extra payment as 'job security' is laughable. You can only be managers - so get your trainers on this Friday, you're gonna be busy!
