And how many times were the local managers outside the gates with us during those times of industrial action? They stood in front of people they'd worked alongside for years, often as posties themselves, and trotted out the company line. Then they were crossing the picket lines, delivering specials and taking bonuses. Even the acting ones who were still CWU members!happy11 wrote:1300 Managers souls gone........ many blocking , its coming our way so before you laugh at the managers just look at whats coming next....... shameful that all goes towards the City and the hedge funds ...... so before we slag of the local managers we best look at what is going on #allinittogether
I won't be laughing at them losing their job but I certainly won't be shedding a tear for some of the bullies, cowards and arseholes at our place. Much less fighting for them.
And if redundancy comes my way then let it come. C'est la f***ing vie. A little pile of cash to f**k this job off isn't too unappealing a prospect - there would be a queue out the door at our place if VR's were offered, however measly.
