Id have thought that would be your managers problem, our new times are a joke, add on half an hour to us all and not thought for scheduled attendance or dispatching later mail on a saturday once the sunday goes, like i say, not our problem.

Well with the new start times that came in this week, i'll not be delivering 9am specials again. Had the problem a few months back when i was told i couldn't go out early as i'd be leaving some mail in (the fact that deliveries weren't going out lets forget that), i just said well you'll have to sort something out. The next day was told to go out with the 9am specials and come back for the rest of my mail and go out again. I wasn't going to do that either not with everyone going on about carbon footprints and all that, so my advice tell your manager it's there problem

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Not only just nine o'clock specials the rest usually have before 1 o'clock on the sticker when we now deliver beyond then up to two :arrrghhh. In Work Time Lying last week the screws were banging on about how bad Wilful Delay is and wanting us to sign bits of paper about it, we all refused and turned it against them by raising all the problems that six o'clock starts would cause, such as I get mail in my mech for a medical centre and a solicitor for a five start firms guy who will be gone for his first delivery which is timed 08:30 well before I've sorted it to give to him, they've know about it for a long time now, their problem now. . . . . . :funneh :funneh

and the answer from the phg whom gives out the SD's is like i care!
same with 9am SD at our office...
Take them with you and when it gets past 1pm, tell the customer that
they can claim and it will cost the RM a fortune, another bullock drop by RM
by rushing s**t new rules and changes of duty, Forward planning!
i hope the government look at how RM spends the 1.3 billion loan!
and that it doesn't waste it on compensation and overtime!!!!!!!!
OR on the two idiots bonuses for fecking up RM

Royal mail can be done for fraud offering a service which they cannot provide.
