Backlog ??? What backlog ????

Post by 24601 »

"The overwhelming majority of our people are now back at work clearing a backlog of mail which is equivalent to less than a day's normal postbag," said a Royal Mail spokesman.

SKY NEWS IF YOURE IN HERE PLEASE READ!!!!!!!!!!!

Firstly why print / make statements without facts? most MC's are filled to the rafters with four days worth of Mail - how can you process four days Mail with only enough equipment/people to move and process the daily work load?

Get it? do you - no really? do you? Stop adding to the propaganda and start some un biased News reporting.

We had a load of rounds not go out, because by the time they'd sorted it, it was time to go home. Of course that was only the people who striked, everyone who broke it was home early, flexibility doesn't affect them, on Tuesday, they had bugger all to do, but were told they could not touch any strikers mail - if thats not wilful delay I don't know what is.

Lovely, did they then say 'the CWU should help us' :) I'd have liked to see that, as I've said before everyone thinks a strike breaker is a shithouse, and they are finding that out for them selves. Be interesting to if they strike on Tuesday, I doubt it though.

Couldnt move in our mail centre, and mangers moaning their asses off because they was no room what the f**k do the expect. I got two cut hands last night because you couldnt move a york anywhere without getting hit. Funny thing is with all the yorks of packets and meters etc everywhere every health and safety went out of the window then a manger comes out on the bay to me whilst im trying to clear the mounting of work and says dont forget to where your high vis jacket.

in our office on wednesday and today everyone was told no pressure OT work till your time, i get back today and the acting dum said "you will be pleased to know we are having a blow out tomorrow" when i asked why i was told "because it's backing up too much" not my problem i told him i'm still only doing my time tomorrow and every other day, i've informed the rep and hopefully everyone else will do the same, why do they think they can just move the goalposts every time it suits them
