I don't wish to get into a political debate with anyone and this isn't what this posting is about. Late last week, boxloads of UKIP's paranoid propaganda leaflets turned up at our office for distribution this coming week. Am I the only one who feels uncomfortable about being required to deliver leaflets for this party who's views and opinions many find offensive?

What could be the consequences should I request not to deliver this 'stuff' on the grounds of 'conscience'?

Anybody of high ranking in the CWU have a take on this matter and wish to comment? Given our unions affiliation with the Labour Party, I would like to think they would have been against members delivering material for a political party that are barely concealed racist and have policies that would be disastrous for many postal workers.

The ideal solution of course, is for RM to not deliver political material of any kind for any party. However, as we all know in the modern day, money is everything - No matter how dubious its source.

You don't want to turn this into a political debate and then go on to rubbish UKIP for their policy's, "paranoid" and "barely concealed racist". All the political parties get the same treatment and then the voter decides in a private booth whee they mark their election paper. Why should you deny the voter a information on all parties?

Do you not find it disturbing that a 61 year old British MP suffers a vicious assault on a London street, is beaten up for three minutes by a brutal and determined assailant in broad daylight and admitted to hospital as a result, then there's a deafening silence to this event from the mainstream British political establishment, George Galloway receiving no public message of sympathy from a single MP from any party – nothing from Speaker Bercow, from the Prime Minister, or from any of the other elected political leader ?

The bloke is a traitor, and that's why he parachutes into any constituency with a large anti-British population, to perpetrate his parasitic lifestyle as an MP.

Not out of context at all. In fact it would sound worse if you Google a line from the speech and read the rest. As I said, the bloke's been the friend of anti-British sentiment wherever it comes from - the IRA, muslims and even the great democrat Saddam. He's an anti-Semite unconcealed. He makes the BNP seem balanced. I get the feeling that if the muslim-Jew population of the UK were reversed, he'd be hating muslims to get elected in a largely Jewish constituency. The bloke just uses bigotry to get elected. It's just he's better at it than Nick Griffin.
