SW London Out

Post by johnnyp »

This morning management imposed changes to working conditions at Streatham D.O. SW16 which were totally unacceptable to c.w.u. members at that office. For the LAST 6-8 WEEKS colleagues at SW16 have held firm against vicious management provocation which has included stoppage of pay after a full days work. The office was left with no choice but to take unoffical I/A along with our colleagues in East London M/C and Liverpool.Word soon spread around SW London with what was happening to our colleagues at the above offices. It was agreed that an attack on the above is an attack on us all so SW4,5,6,7,10,,15,and 17 would walk in support of our colleagues.
Below is the punishment charter that management have imposed on SW16

Sorry if our action has pissed off some of you guys, but it was always on the cards once we passed October 8th and E/A was gonna be imposed in offices.

Thanks for your support in letting everyone know whats going on at Streatham so they can understand the provocation we are having there. It's easy for those in 'nicer' offices to think we are walking out for nothing but they don't have the sh*t we have everyday.

Johnnypick, I'm sure I speak for everyone in West London Postal when I say, good luck to you and the rest of our South London colleagues.
The way our area manager's underling was acting today, we may well be out before next tuesday too.

Good on yer lads - it seems as though London and the SE and E parts especially are taking all the crap. Lets hope victory is both a short time away and very sweet.
