We keep getting told the "mail figures" - and being moaned at for leaving loops in ... but lino has admitted "we don't count parcels" ....

Says it all really.
"We're under model" - oh no we're not - stick your lapse elsewhere ...

Apart from mech mail, specials and tracked nothing gets counted. Each mail stream has an average container fill (eg a tray might contain an average of 150 letters - I don't know what the actual ACF is for a tray). They times the number of containers (yorks/sleeves/trays) by the ACF and that's the number of items that the DOM must get as the expected traffic. Some containers will be under the ACF, some will be above.
