Another thread on this topic suggests that the overpayment for some is to compensate for the underpayment they have suffered in the past. Sounds reasonable....

But is there any document or announcement that explains whether this "Arrears Extra Duty (Non-Pens)" is a replacement for the "Scheduled Attendance Lump Sum" paid in the May and September of previous years or not ?
