if it consisted of days then yes you would have 3 days 'less' but only because you work longer days and use more hours when you are off
As your annual leave is in hours you don't
on the old system say you had 6 weeks consisting of 7.48 days ( 5 days) 5 x 7.48 = 39 hours 39 hours x 6 = 234 hours annual leave
new system 4 weeks 3 days consisting of 8.40 days (6 days) 6 x 8.40 = 52 hours 52 hours x 4.5 = 234 hours annual leave
but on the new system you also have to add in your extra 13 weeks you have for your rest weeks
You have not lost any days they have just been used differently
27 days is 4.5 weeks on a 6 day - you have not lost anything
you may get paid for 39 weeks when you are off but you use 52 hours - otherwise you would not get your week off ( rota) after you have had annual leave
This really should have been explained to you!
