At our office we get a choice. A day off or paid overtime. I always ask for the overtime. That's the agreement get you rep to sort it, or go direct to union headquarters .

£8.97 plus average lieu hours back ,work out your average by dividing number of days worked into 39 hours if you are full time.. ie 5 day duty 8 hours 45 mins back.

Are you meaning if a bank holiday is worked?


I mean if rest day falls on bank holiday. Can i have the rest day paid as overtime rather than a day in lieu

So it's my rotating day off today and in our office we normally get credited a day off, seeing trying to get a day off is near impossible i'd prefer the money if that's what has been agreed nationaly, have just texted my area rep and will see the DOM first thing in the morning, so does anyone know what the rate of pay would be?

DOM, line manager and DOM support not having it, email sent to area manager and area rep with attached agreement, HR phoned and they are saying leiu day only payable if you have worked the bank holiday, will carry on the fight tomorrow
