Doblos - f*ckin' hate 'em!
The turning circle of an aircraft carrier and as fat as a pregnant hippo.
They might work on town duties but they're shite when it comes to rurals.

lol, I think the turning circle is better than the Combo, it feels more nimble, but yeah they are quite fat. : )Straight4ward wrote:Doblos - f*ckin' hate 'em!

Doblos are shite. Whoever decided to do a deal with those fans is a complete idiot. No wonder RM is going down the shitter. Far too many people in upper management who have no clue as to how things work.

Re: Royal Mail Vans
we have these doblo xl masive van with sliding doors both sides in the back and also a higher roofnorm wrote:We've got some Fiat Doblo's where we work. I reckon they're the best of the lot, nice smooth gearbox/steering, reverse sensors, good vis as it sits higher on road, easy open doors, plenty room in back. Only drawback is the fact it doesn't have sliding doors on both sides like the new Peugeots.

Re: Royal Mail Vans
Corporate image. Better not to have scruffy old vans on the streets of London where loads of people see them. Put the shiny new ones there and send the aging old horses out to pasture in the sticks where they just get covered in mud anyway and nobody cares. Bumpkins are better off in knackered old vans, they don't have to deal with DPFs and don't need to be reminded to put the handbrake on all the time.jamstercompaq wrote:HI Guys
We had a meeting with our managers and the delivery planners today in regard to van sharing... as we are a spdo we already got 2 vans that always been there but we be getting further 3 vans i asked wether they be brand new and was told no as we are getting them from london!! does anybody know whats that about?
Thanks

Which? The handbrake reference or the shiny van theory shiny. The shiny reference shiny does have some credence because Lunnun would be the shop window for investors.jamstercompaq wrote:Is that a theory ??
