is it true a walk can't last more than 3 .5 hours

as far as i am aware the walk should nt exceed 3.5 hrs if it does then start working to your time till they fix it

it certainly was 3.5 hours from first to last call (not from leaving to returning to the office) when it was first set up . . . . wouldn't be totally surprised if that's changed though

My walk takes 4 hours and that is using the car and walking at a brisk pace.

I have no option but to cut off as I did today by leaving half the work on top of the frame as this walk is a piss take.

well you should leave the car and walk slower and get bags dropped at your feet means you will be walking for less time feck them up do job properly :no no

when sdd came in the agreed delivery span for a walk was 3.5 hrs from 1st door to the last door, the 15mins mentioned is for conveyance to your 1st point and at then 15 mins pouching off.if the duty is reguarly exceeding that ask for the duty to be tested stating you dont wish to walk longer than the agreed 3.5 hrs. once tested you will then be able to clearly show how much is to removed from your walk. their problem who does it. use the health and safety arrangement in place at all times especially when being walk tested ie weights on delivery with matrix thats in place, slowly decreasing the weight of each bag you have and the weight on steep hills 1 in 12 and 1in 8 incline i think thats 12kg and 8kg bags if i mend right also if flats for instance that would come under predominantly stairs and its only 5kg in that area your rep should be able to tell you more about this.
