Did you enjoy it?
The prospect of being on your own within a week is quite daunting isn't it?! Good luck!
when I started you only had 1 days training and then it was sink or swim. At least they are training people properly now.

Re: Newbie starting!
Started at nine, delivery finished and told to go home by 1pm (told by both work coach & manager)! So a bit early finish!Dandylion wrote:Did you do your full hours today?
Incidently, I was given a spare pouch from my work coach, for me to use in the mean time. Can't adjust the strap for length as it's tied together.... Was told to keep the pouch in my car boot between shifts (with no mail in it, of course!) in case it gets pinched in the DO, as I have no personal locker. A bit paranoid folk will think I've been taking mail home....
Anyway, looking forward to day 2, tomorrow!

I'd class myself as pretty fit too, as I'm a keen cyclist who regularly does 40 mile + bike rides. Felt pretty tired yesterday though!paul1231 wrote:Was quite an enjoyable first day but even though I class myself as fit. few gym visits a week and play football im still tired after today though I bet the suns taken it out of me and im actually sunburnt haDandylion wrote:Glad it went well :)good luck Paul hope your 1st day goes well.

Make sure you take a bottle of water / juice out with you, as it is thirsty work.
Shame the weather has changed today, pretty windy and dull. Ho well, at least its not snowing!
