Are you under the impression that Dingo is at your beck and call?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

daveyeff wrote:DINGO,,i have posted on here without success, can you please give some clarification before our office walks.....have our terms and conditions changed or been withdrawn in the new agenda for growth.?? since the 2010 agreement, it was said all offices have the right to have 1 saturday off in 4. currently, at our office there is a mixture of 9 day fortnites, and some staff work 3 weeks on and have the 4th week off. this is our 1 in 4 saturdays off agreed shift patterns. they have tried to change it back to a 5 day week about 18 months ago. but we all voted against it so it remained in place. now they have come back at us again to have it changed back to 5 days a week again. this time though, our reps are saying theres NOTHING we can do about it. its coming in wether we like it or not. even if we vote against it, they will bring it in anyway. this surely constitutes executive action. unless of course the 1 in 4 saturdays and locally agreed shift patterns HAVE been changed in the new AGF. can you clarify if this is the case? have we been ''stitched'' and have lost our right to 1 in 4 saturdays off. ive looked through the legally binding document, but i cant find it. can you say what is our options on this. will i get a reply from bob gibson/dave ward if you cant clarify. thanks....
why not just phone the cwu headquarters ?

i,ve had a reply from norman candy on behalf of dave ward. and also one from the branch. the one from the branch says that many offices are undergoing changes to duty structures because there is a lack of work on mondays tuesdays and saturdays, so offices that had revisions in for quite a while will have a new model week introduced and reps will negotiate from there. theyve got a planner in now who's ''crunching the numbers''. our duty has already come back at less than what is was,,,''what a surprise''.... he,s even managed to conjure up another 10 mins off the conveyancing times to and from the duty. (5mins there and 5 back) the geo-route playstation he is using must have found a quicker way to get there and back or they've suped up the vans. anyways its all being negotiated....but we are expecting to lose our 9 day fortnites and 3 on and 1 off duty plans....but the email from norman candy says that if management introduce changes without agreement being reached, then this IS executive action.....which is a bit of hope. uncertain times ahead...happy days.
