Afraid it is if you agree to delivering them, you can of course opt out. If you extend on a regular basis then it may pay to opt out.
Opt out! Really?

Never heard that before.

You can still claim excess if normal mail puts you over. We have had a notice through saying we will get a `minimum of 3p`. Bet it is 3p.

Yes you can. A couple of guys have already done so at my office. The leaflets / cards go up as overtime.

You should get your rep to push harder for 6p. Rem RM get something like £30m for this work and pay out £3m.

This would be correct.
That would be incorrect.

If you go over you can claim, unless only the poll cards made you go over.

2 examples.

1. Off your own back you decide to deliver 100% of the poll cards on day 1 but the other traffic is very light or below planned levels - No you cant.
2. Traffic is very high or above planned levels and you decide to do 50% of the poll cards - Yes yo can because the poll cards were not the cause of the overtime.

Non addressed items.

Just to add that you cannot deliver them to the same houses that you also deliver D2D's on that day.

Where does it state that?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

We get 6p an item.

3 working days to deliver addressed

7 working days unaddressed.

You can count poll cards but if you have access to a letter scales you can weigh them and work it out that way. A poll card weighs about 6.4 grams.

What's the situation with floaters doing poll cards. Is the duty holder likely to get miffed?
