not sure if this is good news or not - i dont realy know all the ins and outs but if Gordon Brown thinks that we are all lazy - have no reason for IA and that the deal is fair - wont he just push it through?

YEah - and all Brown will say is what he already said - we should accept the offer and get on with it.

Don't expect anything here.

At all...

Seeing as most of SW London are out this must be hitting close to home for the MP's.

They are probably worried that the vibrator has got stuck in the post.

Peter Mandelson allegedly went to his GP, saying he thought he had some splinters in his bottom.
'Well I'm not surprised' says the doc ... 'I've heard you've tried to get the whole Cabinet up there'

The political levy we pay should go to these MPs who are supporting the CWU not to the Labour Part Direct.

What sense is their to pay a Political levy to a Party that is cutting our members throats.

Put a motion into your local branch of the CWU demanding an end to the Political levy funds to support the Labour Party.
Demand that the political levy used be used only to support MPs of any Party who support the views and aspirations of our members

Make sure this motion is sent to the CWU Annual Conference 2008

fight back END IT NOW :cfo :cfo :cfo :cfo :lfo :lfo :lfo :lfo :lfo

Maybe when their funding is stopped they might rethink, but I doubt it.Brown has already forgotten his socialist credentials if he ever had any in the first place.

Snp in Scotland putting the boot into labour and postwatch/postcom for trying to do away with the uso and bring in zonal pricing and basically blaming labour for endangering a valuable public service (was on BBC radio Scotland at 5pm) and blaming postwatch/postcom & Royal Mail for instigating the strike

Hold on - maybe we need to draw a distinction between the Parliamentary Labour Party and the Cabinet.
The PLP still has members that represent the working class but not many - do we need to fund the PLP just for the minority? We need friends not enemies in parliament no matter how few. 40MP's now 50 this is a learning process for Brown, maybe he will start listening.
