if you are finished earlier obviously your your are not working same hrs

some people who try to be clever and finish before time are only f***ing job up and when the s**t hits and it will dont come crying

Calm down,in our office a full timer and a part timer are paired up the full timer gets 39hrs and the part timer gets 30 hrs,the part timers 318 or whatever they call it nowadays has the part timer finishing 10mins before the full timer and we don't finish before our time stop jumping to conclusions,so what is the problem with the full timer dropping the part timer off?,you both take the blame if something go missing that's the way P&L works in our office.

TBH I don't understand why this is allowed to happen, everybody needs to return to the office, it really isn't fair for one person to do extra work while one is sitting at home. I know I wouldn't allow it to happen if they where my van share partner.

But it is fair for the one who does the walking part to be working while the driver sits in the vehicle eating his sandwiches after he has delivered the big packets.And it's fair for the walker to have to put in far more households than the driver because his loops are bigger.

If some p&l partners want to drop people home and the managers are fine with this then what's the problem? They can't force you to drop someone home if you're with a partner and you insist he has to come back to help you unload then that's what he has to do.

dropping someone home early and then the other going back to the do to finish everything on time means that pair actually has at least some extra time to do some extra lapsing maybe only 10 minutes or so but thats 10 minutes they are now making go on to everyone else in the office just so one of them can get home a little earlier

The drivers loop's are shorter,the drivers prep is shorter and he gets nine more hours a week than me,so he drops me off on the way back to the office,I haven't got a car so whats the point me going back to the office,the driver is happy with that,if he wants to go and watch football on a Saturday I will drive and he does my bigger loops and I drop him off at home,I offered to do week about with him but no his choice is that he would rather do the shorter loops and the driving,if you can't sort things out between you thats not my problem,some of you people are so petty it's unreal.

i often do 15 minutes work of my partners loop.he works overtime.so i get left with 25 minutes .his 15 and my 10 mins work.he does his overtime.and i finish near home.i download my pda,endorse undelivered mail,whats wrong with this?.

Do you have trouble reading? or struggle to understand English,I haven't said that I refuse to go back to the office me and my fulltime driver have an arrangement and it works well,so Mr Angry why don't you talk to your partner and sort things out like 2 grown ups instead of battering away on your keyboard and posting rants on here.

You should make it clearer,how can it not be fair if both of you are happy,you need to chill out before you have a heart attack.If you find yourself working with someone who want's dropping off and you don't agree with it,tell him or are you afraid of confrontation,don't come bleating on here trying to upset a system that works for some people.

The main question is - are these people working all their paid hours?
If not, then they are simply going to cut the hours out of their office.
It may not effect them but it may be that the powers that be then decide all p/t staff don't have to return to the office, which will cut (possibly) 15 minutes/day off their contracted hours.
That's 75 minutes each week.
That is 60 hours/year or approx. £600 off their annual wage.

once delivery completed should all persons return to do
p&l in ours driver drops partner off at home and is left themselves to bring 739s trackeds reg specials pda everything back to office for them.
also some drive round and dump everything with other p&l duties to save any of them going back to office.
enabling earlier finishes for some and working to time for others

nb. persons not going back to office do not take any more mail etc to cover their hours while partner is still working
mgmt know people are finishing earlier but do nothing as it suits them

Why? If i had to pouch of every day and non driver gets his or her arse home half hour before me then I would want to know why this was allowed to happen, some selfish people out there who NEVER return favours....
For me do as our office EVERYONE back and drag your own arse home like the drivers have to....

Those people getting the flyers will soon get used to it, can't believe they still get away with it tbh!!!!
