Easter is looming and privatization has fully kicked in at our mail centre.
Lieu days are no longer lieu days earnt any more and your choice to come in and earn one has gone as well.
Staff are being told the bank holiday after easter ,they will have to have the Tuesday off because there is no work, not that they can come in and earn a lieu day.
On good Friday if you come in and do it on overtime, you will only get back the hours that you actually work now.
For example if you come in for 7 hours, that is exactly what you will get back. So a day in lieu for easter working doesn't exist any more under PSP.
Most people work a minimum of 8 hours full time to 10 hours a day depending on your shift.

Having the same problem in RM Relay, expect us to work 5 hours Good Friday morning for five hours pay only. Does anyone have a link to this apparent change please. Interestingly enough Option A and Option B still seem to exist according to Payroll?

I will gently throw this into the thread
Pay and Mod 2007 - To ensure all paid working hours are utilised. Its being going on in Deliveries since 2007, I thought it applied to all Royal Mail Function.
I will now depart and find my tin hat.
