Comfort break
Can anyone tell me if toilet breaks have to be taken as part of your meal relief time or as and when the moment takes you? Is it stated in any agreement anywhere?

Re: Comfort break
Every time one of our lot leaves the IPS to go to the toilet, only to be met by an accusatory "where are you going?" from the resident screw/lino, it makes me think of The Shawshank Redemption.
"You don´t need to ask me every time you need to go take a piss. Just go"
Sadly, in this job we do.

Well. You're lucky then if you have some place to get of bypassers sight!
As for me is the toilet break just before leaving the office and that's it till I'm back. So no matter how thirsty I am no fluids to be taken!
Worst part of this job to be honest coz some jobs are up to 6hrs out.

Thought entering a pub in uniform, other than mail delivery, was a sackable offence?Rory wrote:You're in a van? Nip to a pub.Zanfta wrote:Well. You're lucky then if you have some place to get of bypassers sight!

Maybe it was in the 1700s but not any more.El-Bandito wrote: Thought entering a pub in uniform, other than mail delivery, was a sackable offence?
If the climate was a bank, they would already have saved it.
