Operational Modernisation

As part of our nationwide programme of operational transformation, we’ve made changes to our delivery arrangements in some offices this week (w/c 24th March). These changes could include: a review of delivery routes, improved delivery equipment being brought into use or changes to the way in which we prepare mail for delivery. Customers may start to see changes this week to deliveries in the following areas:

These changes could include: a review of delivery routes, improved delivery equipment being brought into use or changes to the way in which we prepare mail for delivery. Customers may start to see changes this week to deliveries in the following areas:

Godalming - GU7 & GU8
Heathfield - TN21

Relocation of Whitstable Enquiry Office – CT5
On Saturday 5th April, the Whitstable Enquiry Office at 134 Cromwell Road, will close and all facilities move to the Canterbury Delivery Office, Military Road, Canterbury CT1 1AA. From Monday 7th April, items we’ve been unable to deliver and for which we leave a 'Something for you' card will be available to collect from the Canterbury Enquiry Office. Customers don’t need to come to the office to collect these items; details of how to arrange a redelivery are shown on the card. If collecting items, please first check the details on the card. If it’s dated after Monday 7 April, the item will be available for collection from the Canterbury office. Up until then, any such items will be held at the Whitstable office. Preparation of deliveries for the Whitstable area moved to Canterbury in 2013; there should be little change to delivery services as a result of this move.

Relocation of Erith Delivery and Enquiry Office – DA8 and DA18
On Saturday 5th April, the Erith Delivery Office at 207 Manor Road, will close and all facilities move to the Dartford Delivery Office, 50 West Hill, Dartford DA1 1AA. However, since Monday 31st March, any items we’ve been unable to deliver and for which we’ve left a 'Something for you' card are available to collect from the Dartford Enquiry Office. Customers don’t need to come to the new office to collect these items; details of how to arrange a redelivery are shown on the card. There should be little change to delivery services as a result of this move.

AFAIK only the problem ones such as my office are the only ones still left. Probably less than 50 left now, maybe as low as 10.
