Crozier and his flexibility
Got a letter today from management, not sure whether everyone did, about how they want us to adopt more flexibility at work.
Flexibility means:
People work all the hours they are paid.
Scheduled hours may be different on different days of the week(long and shorts)
Scheduled hours may vary at different times of the year eg to reflect lighter workload in the summer
People may be asked to vary their times by up to 30 mins - go early one day and make up the time later
in the week(swings and roundabouts)
People carry out all the tasks that need to get done - as long as its safe, legal and they've had any
necessary training
Occasionally people may be asked to work in another location - using a locally agreed process
People use new machines, technology and equipment and adopt new ways of working - once they've
had any necessary training.
People cover each other's leave and absence, where they can, within scheduled hours.
People are treated fairly and with respect.
What utter crap that is. Thats not flexibility, thats management being able to do exactly what they want with you and you cant do a thing about it.

Flexibility
The only reason some postman go home 2 hours early is because they start 1 hour earlier and rush round to get finished because of Royal Mails agreement of job and finish, take away job and finish and everyone will start doing the job properly, then i think rm will be in for a big surprise because i for one will never get finished in time as i suspect is the case with every other postman in the country
crozier is making himself look a total prick with some of his comments, particularly "cobblers", what an arsehole.

Re: Flexibility
What a complete idiot he is ! And did he finish more than 2hrs 16mins before his official time ? Because if, for example, he finished 1hr 45m ahead of his official time, he was in effect working for free for 30mins (and more than that if he skipped his break)neil1167 wrote:one a/g at ours came in 2HRS 15 MINS before is time
In short, exactly the kind of prat that makes Crozier think we're underworked and overpaid

this flexibility sh*t also means an end to overtime...
you come back early you will be finishing off a round or doing a collection or just sort the mail for next morning so lets all get ready for a flat week in our pay packet.do you remember the days of all that overtime at xmas.forget that you will be making up your hours from earlier in the year so no festive xmas for us anymore walking round in the pissing rain and snow knowing we will have good pay this week or should i say month now so much for annualised hours i think crozier was thinking of anal hours...

Adam Crozier is one of life's arseholes , I'd eat grass for breakfast, dinner, and tea, before I'd submit to his utterly ridiculous , utterly disastrous, the fattun wrote:this flexibility sh*t also means an end to overtime...
