That woman was evil. As a miner I saw towns and villages decimated. It's just been raked up recently with her lies being exposed. I'm speechless that anyone could come up with this ridiculous idea.

She divides opinions like no other politician before or since..

Personally I think her record was very mixed.

However no politicians have done more damage to the working class than Blair & Brown did by opening the immigration doors wide open...

The immigration-driven population-explosion means lower living standards and increased costs for all - the working man has had it in the neck from both sides.
Immigrants are driving up the cost of housing and driving down wages - forcing ordinary people onto housing benefits - which further drives rental price up.
Who's going to pay for all the new schools, hospitals, roads, railways, sewerage facilities, water supplies, houses and energy infrastructure required to cope with this population explosion ?

Utter drivel.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Thankfully this bill has run out of time in parliament and therefore will not progress any further,to honour such a divisive, empathy free human being would have been sheer folly and morally, reprehensible.

Conservative MP Peter Bone has denied allegations of benefit fraud relating to his mother-in-law.
The Times says the Crown Prosecution Service is looking into claims that assets belonging to her were concealed so Northamptonshire County Council would fund time in a care home.
Mr Bone tweeted: "The Times allegation: We have done nothing wrong. The claims made are without foundation."
There is no suggestion that his mother-in-law has acted improperly.
Anyone with assets totalling more than £23,250 must pay their own care-home fees.
Mr Bone, the 61-year-old MP for Wellingborough and Rushden, said there was no "foundation" to the accusations.

He is also known for raising laughs in the House of Commons by regularly claiming to ask questions on behalf of his wife.

There is already is a Margaret Thatcher day in the Falklands, every day, I wonder how it would have turned out if a different politician was in charge when the invasion happened.

The invasion happened because she was in charge.Callaghan had already thwarted Argentinian ideas to take the islands a few years previous. The Tories wishing to save a few bob had made it clear that the patrol vessels were to be removed. She had every intention of handing the islands over to Argentina as they were a burden. It was all to be done on the quiet and gradually.Galtiery(sp) jumped the gun and caused embarrassment in Whitehall.

Callaghan did send a task force down, he however did not dislodge an Argentine invasion force from Thule Island, which lead to the next stage in the conflict to 1982, While it did happen on her watch, I cannot imagine she would gladly give up the Falkland on the quiet, it is more likely the Whitehall mandarins took it on themselves to send out mixed signals on the idea of a handover of the Falklands, feelers were put out to the Islanders with inducements which was ignored, however the Argentines didn't wait, leading to the current conflict.
