And after a while, you can work on points for style,
Like the club tie, and the firm handshake,
A certain look in the eye and an easy smile.

You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to,
So that when they turn their backs on you,
You'll get the chance to put the knife in.

it seems plan is to tip all the flats and tray them in Norwich in the morning and afternoon then transport them to Peterborough to be sort by machine. Hopefully returning all sorted ready for despatched to delivery offices between 3AM-4AM. Seems Peterborough have plenty of time on their hands to do all this. It looks like Royal Mail has created a situation when Mail centres are fighting each other for work instead of trying to work together in keeping all mail centres open protecting all jobs.

Run 3 iLSM's for 100,000 items of work - then get the staff to seg them on the FSM or send them over to packets/parcels for an hour or two.
Go for break
Then hammer the DSA until 1:30pm and go home - WITHOUT being allowed to check the machine for stray letters

That's what Peterborough mech boys do now on mornings!!

Oops but not upto date on current state of play re CFCs

Lobsters is a new way of cutting, tipping and traying equipment. I think Medway used them originally. I think they use it to do the DSA. But I could be wrong

No you are correct,Medway has had these for about a year give or take, management want to get rid and go back to cut and tip on tables then seg in to yorks but after a trial period it looks like the lobsters are staying.

I've heard through the grapevine that there are problems up in Sheffield. The rumour is that the merger with Doncaster could be off, any truth in this?

I heard through the grapevine that the Doncaster Processing Staff and the work move to Sheffield on March 24th. Announcement was made yesterday afternoon to the Staff.
