I agree with you having experienced first hand this type of harassment. However I still believe that management have the right to question those who are slow and we all know who they are. What is not right is the tactic of using a legitimate corrective system against members who have a legitimate right to finish at their normal time.

Surely its not the pass or fail but the test itself.
if taking out a grievance is an option then everyone who has been marked or tested should take out the grievance regardless of their pass or fail status.

As previously stated by others, Royal Mail have the right to test, look at, whatever term you want to use, as to why people are unable to complete their duties. What they cannot do is discipline people for not coming up to scratch because they have a joint agreement with the CWU that the only indoor performance test that carries any weight is the one minute test. Therefore unless you have been singled out for some reason, or these tests have been used for individual performance testing, then there is little point in pursuing grievances.
