Red-faced Post Office bosses have issued an apology for incorrectly spelling the name of an Aberdeenshire village where services are due to be scaled back.
Public consultation documents about proposed changes to the post office in Tarves were uploaded online with all references to the location spelled as “Traves”.
The information revealed plans to move the post office in the Duthies of Tarves shop, run by Dundee-based company CJ Lang, from a separate screened counter to a till position
