the dum told us today,even if a deal is done we will not be getting any backpay rise from april..

so when and if a deal is sorted we will get our pay from that date and no back pay.,...c***s eh?

our manager showed us the print out and that was part of it except that we get something like 5.4% straight away instead of 2.5% back dated to april so i dont think there will be much in it. but only 1.5% in april whereasd managers getting 2% then another 2% or more in july. were shafted as usual while they look after their yes men

No I don't think it is a wind up. I saw the printout today and basically it said 5.8 from start and 1.5 from April. No back pay. The conditions and flexibility remained the same and the pension was still 65 and no new entrants.

What do you mean point of contact for cut offs mate? i just told mine this morning that i would be finishing on my time and that there was no chance of my last bag being delivered, it is still in the drop box as far as i know. Our DUM isn't even in on a sat!!

Tell him that it doesn't bother you, that you don't want to use your car for Royal Mail's benefit anyway, and you'll be bringing mail back if there's nobody available to give you a lift back to the office when you're done. He'll soon start back-pedalling.
