LIVERPOOL OUT

Post by kopite74 »

WE WALKED OUT THIS MORNING AT 5.30 WHEN TOLD BY MY MANAGEMENT OUR START TIMES WERE 6.00 COPPPERAS HILL FOLLOWED. THE MANAGER COULD HAVE USED THEIR DISCRETION AND LET US START AT 5.30 AS NO AGREEMENT HAS BEEN MADE REGARDING THE 6.00 O'CLOCK STARTS, BUT NO, SO WE ARE OUT

Just mentioned on the National News, they did'nt say why tho.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

9.15 is the new start time in blyth for part time posties, this morning most if not all the full timers were out the door before the part timers even got into work, they dont give a s**t about quality or the public anymore but its us posties who are being made out to be the bad ones in all this, im totally disillusioned with the whole thing, i wish we all had just stayed out and refused to go back in till it was sorted out once and for all

Much as it hurts me to say...i will go along the same lines, tried to tell my main union man this, but he's been in meetings all day.I'll only be on strike when its official, would i be expected to resign from the union.

get back to work ya roasters before you undermine our offical strike .... you are playing into Royal Mails hands by going out on unoffical strike ... you were told by our union to start at your new times and if it leads to all out unoffical strike you will destroy our union in less than two weeks and give lieghton and crozier what they have always wanted carte blanche to put in whatever measure they want .... if you lot sink this strike with your unoffical action ... i will hold you all in the same contempt i have for Lieghton & Crozier ... and you will be no comrade of mine

Totally Agree. :Applause :Applause Lets keep it official otherwise we will have more people scabbing. I know a lot of people that really, really could not afford the 2 x 48 hrs strikes, but they supported the union, if we ask for more they may crumble.
