I think I believe that. But why does he not step in and take control NOW if it is true. He will get the blame as well as Crozier, and that is not good for his CV. He is an image man and this will not look good. We are loosing money and they are fighting Image

New offer expected tomorrow eh? Looks like our action is working...conflicting opinions from :lfo and :cfo and now a possible new offer on the pensions...

Just retention of D2D payments and were done...dont care about job and finish to be honest.

still dont trust those two though...may have a joker up their sleeves.

I never thought I would say this but I agree with Alan Leighton...
email leaked to the Mirror reveals Royal Mail chairman Allan Leighton to be sympathetic to the union. In an exchange with postman Alan Reynolds, he said: "It is inevitable some delivery officers may be swifter than others.

"I suggest it would be unfair for these staff to be given additional tasks, whilst rewarding others for working at a slower rate."
I am going for a lie down followed by a visit to a shrink.

Al doesn't need to feel himself. He's got 12,000 CMA members to do that for him.

:lfo
It's just undeniable common sense what he's said here - BUT in other words, he may want us ALL to cover extra work.

Regardless, it doesn't remove the fact that he wants us to:

Deliver MORE leaflets and LOOSE all leaflet money
Accept casual hours which will tear apart family life and social life (if u have one)
Accept massive losses on pensions
Accept completion of absent and sick workers rounds for nothing.
Accept bankable hours so u work 35hrs pw in summer and 45hrs pw in winter
Accept a below inflation pay offer for 2 sucessive years
Accept a bonus scheme that will not payoput because all prerequisite targets will purposly be set too high
Accept massive job cuts
Accept his MASSIVE bonuses paid for by us POSTIES exceeding delivery performance targets on 1st and 2nd class mail.

What a rotter.

Have to be careful here. He's planning something nasty.

He'll let you finish when the job's done - if you agree to change your start time every week to suit him. And then he'll use his computers to "reassign" delivery schedules, "to make it fair for everyone". And pretty soon everyone will find they're just a bit slower than "normal", which will be disappointing for him. But he'll be kind and let you keep your job, provided that you do finish it in your own time, unpaid.

He'll have other ideas as well. Just use your imaginations.
