You definitely need to do some research and homework on the Internet, because the advice above is just not correct or helpful to you.

Then he must gather all the information regarding lodging an ET. Consider the chances of success and make an informed decision as to whether the upfront costs are worth risking. If he is a Union member, what discussions have there been with the union and are they prepared to support an ET. Hauntsman you seem to know what is and what isn,t correct, why are you not offering any opinion?

phronsias - try to take things one step at at time... don't look too far ahead... if RM won't deal through ACAS and you are in the right it will reflect poorly on them if you go the ET route... see what transpires in the short term.

Having said all that your B & H case is crucial to what course of action you take... if your claim is upheld that will probably negate the need for an ET... if its not upheld and the reasons are tenuous you may have to consider the ET route... keep in mind if your claim is not upheld you must appeal... as stated elsewhere on this thread you have to exhaust all business procedures for a Tribunal to hear your claim.

Regarding the issues with your DIM ensure you get everything in writing; as hantsman says while given evidence managers will have a selective memory...

Collectively we all have to try and change this unethical culture that is being bred by the business. To do this we need to challenge management through grievance, B & H, disagreements, just say it or ETs when we feel it is justified...
