Has nobody thought of the Consequences of a "no" vote?

Working in a mail centre is f**king sweet. I know the shift manager so I can arrive at work 20mins late for work every day and know one says a word. I s**t on my colleagues who have to carry me as I work in a team and am not assessed as an individual. When the manager tells me to do something I just ignore him because as long as some of them do it, the rest of us will get away with not doing it. I have my own toilets and even my own socialising room where I can leave work at any time and eat or have a play on the mobile. I know about 200 people here, many of whom I have known since childhood. I am completely covered for the next decade.

All of it is true but I doubt all of it applies to the same individual. It is possible to know 200 people if you work in a large Mail Centre and if you have done a variety of shifts over a 20 or more years.

And I suppose lateness is probably one of the main issues in a Mail Centre...

Dvbuk55: as always snipping, blaming others, winging about how the block vote of processing is causing all your delivery problems!
Just get delivery to vote no, it's quite simple if your assessment is so compelling then surely you and other will swing the vast majority of delivery behind a no vote!
Problem is you know it's going to be a yes vote and you'll have to stop going in early, leave your car at home and not leave early. That's generalisation at its best but you know it goes on and yet you bitch about processing.
Look to your own function and sort it out before browbeating processing.

Oh I'm not sniping, I clearly see a difference in the two aspects of the work and the two aspects on the outlook of looking at the agreement. You should not be voting to alter the aspect of deliveries when the vote for your ilk will have no impact on your working terms and conditions. So take your 30 pieces of silver and vote yes - when they've finished with us they'll be coming for you and without national support, for there IS a no strike clause, you'll be out on a very lonely limb. They shut half of them as part of a deal deliveries had no place to vote on........

no suprise pal, you work in a mail center & have a very easy job compared to delivery for the same pay (which will eventually change in time) so i would expect you to do just that! I am advising people in delivery to vote no as this deal doesnt sort out the massive issues within delivery, you cannot understand that i can see which is also no suprise, so have a good evening & "if in delivery people, vote no"

To be fair most of the delivery staff on here were against BT2010, the agreement that negotiated the closure of half our mailcentres so I'm not sure who you're having a moan at and to be honest all this vote yes/no bollocks is a bit childish anyway.

The ballot closes on wednesday, the vast majority of those that will vote have already voted and even if they hadn't typing bollocks vote yes/no is not going to result in a sudden slapping of the forehead and a change of position.
