Footwear rationing one pair every 6 months

When will the new trainers be available? My CAT trainers are done and my manager says he can't order any more because they're being discontinued.

Instead of rationing us to one pair every 6 months they ought to let us have one shoe every 3 months.

Would this mean having to do your loops "the other way round" every three months ?

I keep asking but they don't know. I thought one of them was meant to be available this month but there's no change on the uniform site either.

I was told March. Ordered new cat shoes as they apparently came back into stock, but they didn't have my size and I can't try the magnum shoes as they're out of stock as well.

So I've got at least 2 months of winter to go with a pair of trainers with no tread. I do have some cat boots but can only wear them when it snows or is icy as they're too heavy for day to day wear.
