i would also stick to your guns, if you want whats been recommended in the ISA, then stick with asking for that and agree to nothing else, remember the law is on your side, they cannot insist on IHR if there are already recommendations for redeployment from the Occupational provider without being at risk of losing a big employment tribunal
Thanks for your quick reply!!!!!
My wife will be at home, I'm not looking forward to it but I will do as you advise. I emailed Linda Roy, nothing as yet.
Thanks again

better a work colleague so you have an independent witness, if you had to go to court your wife would not be considered independent
Hi
The OPERATIONS MANAGER came to see me today, he said redeployment was out of the question, but I might have a walk around the office, a bespoke walk he called it, he went on to say the dom was on leave this week and he may not approve it and say IHR was my only option, and the going rate was £18,000,
Thanks for any and all advice

There is a thread about someone refusing IHR.
I'll try and find it, or I'm sure someone else will for you.
Thanks
Ive just rang Linda's Roy office and spoke to her PA (Linda is on leave) she said IHR was out of the question, she spoke to the policy adviser and then I spoke to him, he said he was aware of my case and had spoken to my area rep and I should leave it in his hands. I told him I put a b&h against the dom, he said I upped the ante. All in all not a great deal of help.

What reason did he give for saying redeployment was out of question? Should ask for that reason in writing, also Ihr approval is above dom level, it would be area manager at least to approve that
Also b&h should not come into this, it's a straight equalities act issue so unless you want to move due to bullying then equalities act should come in and very little option to argue against
Hi
Ive had no reply to my request for the reasons in writing for the refusal of my redeployment under the equality act from RM or the union, I think they've done a deal behind my back and didn't bother to look at vacancies in the mc
